To celebrate this event and to let a spiritual life unfold from me, it is my intent to walk "The Way of Saint James", the Camino Santiago de Compostella. (*) I will begin my walk on 8 April and hopefully finish on or about 12 May.
While 528 miles seems daunting, so did living the rest of my life sober at the age of 31. At the current age of 76 I am excited about this adventure. It would seem that indeed; "God is doing for me which I cannot do for myself." Walking from St. Jean de Pied Port, France to Compostella, Spain has been walked by 100's of thousand pilgrims.
Early in my sober life the mantra; "Action is the magic word." rang out loud and clear in my life Now is the time for action.
